NEIL SHEARING'S DREAM STORY (added 2003)
Just a few days ago, I was in the middle of
working at my desk, emailing customers and
thrashing out the latest promotional ideas.
It was late afternoon, the sun was high in
the sky and it was blazing hot. I got bored
answering emails so I decided to take a break.
I called out to my 2-year-old son, Adam, and
said, "C'mon, let's run around the garden!"
We had great fun, laughing and racing around
in the sun. We raced from the hedge to the
picnic table, then to the bird bath... several
times!
My wife and our little seven-month-old girl
watched in amusement. Eventually we stopped
running around and sat in the shade enjoying
the view across the garden. I noticed how some
of the roses I'd planted recently had exploded
into vibrant yellows and oranges.
I walked over to the roses and inhaled deeply
... what a great fragrance.
Sometimes, working from home in your own
online business, you really can stop and smell
the roses.
